ARREST

Juan Alejandro Lopez, male, 27, of 6801 Bristle Bark Court, Wendell, was arrested on October 24. He was found in his vehicle, which was located in a ditch on East Young Street. Mr. Lopez had been previously drinking and tested positive to a breath test. Mr. Lopez was unable to perform a standardized sobriety test because he could not speak English. He was placed under arrest for driving while impaired and with no operator’s license. The vehicle was towed away, and Mr. Lopez was transported to the Wake County Jail. He is being held on a $1000 secured bond with a trial date of November 5 in Wendell.

Larod Antonio Everett, male, 37, of 3524 Boughton Road, Raleigh, was arrested on October 26 for shoplifting and larceny at the Food Lion, 405 South Main Street, Rolesville. It was also found that he had three outstanding warrants. Mr. Everett was transported to the Wake County Jail and held on a $1000 secured bond with a trial date of November 17 in Raleigh.

Kadarly Wayne McLeod, male, 18, of 120 School St., Rolesville, was arrested on October 28 for larceny after breaking and entering. He was found riding his bike on South Main Street. After being pulled over, it was found that there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Mr. McLeod was transported to the Wake County Jail and held on a $20,000 secured bond with a trial date of October 28 in Raleigh.

Brittany Leigh Babyak, female, 22, of 8908 Waynick Drive, Raleigh, was arrested on November 29 for driving while impaired. Ms. Babyak stated she had not been drinking but was given a sobriety test and portable breath test, which produced positive results. She was transported to the Wake County Jail. Her trial date is November 6 in Wendell.

Henry Thomas Jones, male, 62, of 3278 N.C. Highway 39 North, Louisburg, was arrested on DWI charges. Mr. Jones was found to be swerving all over the road and was pulled over in the McDonald’s parking lot. After receiving a breath test, which showed positive, he was transported to the Wake County Jail. He has a trial date of December 4 in Wendell.

Gregory Conner Williams, male, 17, of 2304 Avinshire Place, Wake Forest, was arrested on October 30 for driving without his headlights on. After being pulled over, Mr. Williams was arrested for possession of less than one-half of an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also given a citation for an open container, provisional DWI, an open liquor bottle, and possession of beer under 21 years of age. He was transported to the Wake County Jail and held on a $1000 secured bond with a trial date of December 4 in Raleigh.

Gregory Eugene Williams, male, 41, of 204 Spring St., Lucama, was arrested on November 3 when he was pulled over for running a stop light. It was then found out that there was a warrant out for his arrest in Wilson County for assault on a female. He was placed under arrest for the outstanding warrant and transported to the Wake County Jail, he is being held without bail, with a trial date of November 30 in Wilson.

William Darnell Purvis, male, 23, of 561 Redford Place Drive, Rolesville, was arrested on November 9 for speeding and driving while license revoked. He was transported to the Wake County Jail and is being held on a $1000 secured bond with a trial date of December 3 in Wendell.

Augustine Ajit Gomes, male, 51, of 4630 Wedgewood Drive, Raleigh, was arrested on November 12 for DWI and failure to produce a registration card. Mr. Gomes was asked to exit his vehicle, but struggled trying to get out, he was given a sobriety test, but due to a language barrier the test was unsuccessful. He was transported to the Wake County Jail with a trial date of December 4 in Wendell.

INCIDENT REPORTS

A larceny was reported at 307 Bendemeer Lane, Rolesville, on October 11 where four “For Sale” signs, valued at $300, were stolen by a 42-year-old male.

Food Lion reported damage to property and larceny at 405 South Main Street on October 11. A 35-year-old female stole four 24 ounce cans of Budweiser Beer, valued at $1.79, and one Wild Irish Rose Wine, valued at $6.49.

On October 13, at 410 South Main Street, Rolesville, Auto Zone reported that a 30-year-old female tried to pass 10 $20 counterfeit bills.

Motor vehicle theft of a 1998 Toyota Camry, valued at $8000, was reported on October 14 at 111 Glenn Circle, Rolesville.

On October 15, larceny was reported at 500 Little Port Drive, Rolesville, of one refund check valued at $1.

Food Lion at 405 South Main Street, Rolesville, reported larceny/shoplifting on October 26. A 37-year-old male stole three 24 ounce Ice House cans valued at $4.47.

On October 30, at 917 Pristine Lane, Rolesville, a 16-year-old male was found to be in possession of 19 grams of marijuana.

On October 30, at 917 Pristine Lane, Rolesville, a 17-year-old male was found to have one glass pipe valued at $10 and 2 grams of marijuana.

CITATIONS

From October 7 to November 13, there were 152 citations written for: speeding, expired tags, expired insurance, failure to stop at a stop sign, DWLR, no child restraint, no seat belts, failure to reduce speed, parking in a fire lane, passing in a no passing zone, running a red light, break lights out, under age consumption, open liquid bottles, following too close, possession of drugs and paraphernalia, and DWI.
