Hobbies / Interests? “I like to play volleyball. I was on the varsity volleyball team for three years since the school opened. It’s really my outlet. I really enjoy doing that. I also like to walk on the greenways. It’s really relaxing, and it’s a good way to get exercise.”

Plans After Graduation? “I’m going to Appalachian State University, and I’m planning on majoring in nursing. I’m really looking forward to moving and going to the mountains. So, I’m really excited for the new atmosphere. I’m really excited to just start a new journey in life.”

Long-Term Goals? “I would like to see myself in an established job and being able to support myself. If I get to that point, I’d also like to start a family one day.”

People or Things That Have Had a Major Influence in Your Life? “My mom has had a major influence on me. She’s so strong and so willing to go out of her way to help other people, and that has really inspired me to do the same for others.

“I’ve always loved helping people. I really enjoy the aspect of being able to help benefit people’s life physically. I want to be a labor and delivery nurse, so I also want to be a part of that really special moment in people’s life.”
