A breakfast meeting works well for our members, many who live in Wake Forest and drive to jobs in surrounding communities,” said Matt Archer, co-president of Wakefield Rotary. “We’ve already gained new members and have had members come back who left due to lunch-time conflicts.”

The Wake Forest community service organization formerly met during lunch on Thursdays at TPC Wakefield Plantation, which does not offer a breakfast service.

A hot breakfast is served beginning at 7:30 a.m. by Heritage’s 1250 Restaurant and consists of eggs, bacon, grits, bacon, sausage, biscuits, pastries, fresh fruit, orange juice and coffee among other items.

Guests are welcome to attend the meeting, and potential members of the Rotary club receive a free breakfast. To attend a Wakefield Rotary Club meeting as a potential member or guest, please contact Membership Chair Allison Diego at (919)-624-3674 or allisondiego1@gmail.com

Plans are underway for the Wakefield Rotary club’s Lucky 13 Reverse Raffle & Taste of Wake Forest Dinner on Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, at The Factory. The event raises funds for youth programs in Wake Forest.
